A coverall with knitted cuffs is not ideal for Category III protection, as safeguarding the operator’s integrity must always remain the priority. Knitted cuffs may absorb liquids or trap fibres. In the marine industry, for example, fibreglass fibres can become embedded in the cuffs and be extremely difficult to remove.
