Fabric weight is not particularly significant for Category III coveralls because, if the material is of high quality, durability remains the same. A weight of 55 gsm, as used for the Reflexx Cover 5,6, was also designed to facilitate water-vapour evaporation compared with heavier materials. As the fabric weight increases, achieving good breathability becomes more difficult.
